1 yıl sonra 1990'da Little Louie Vega ve Todd Terry ile çalışmalarına devam ederken, Anthony, Freestyle artist Chrissy I-Eece için "You Should Know By Now" adlı şarkıyı yazdı ve şarkıya düet yaptı. Come Back To Me" adlı şarkısına vokalistlik yaptı. Hızlı çıkışını, Little Loie Vega'nın 1991 yılında piyasaya çıkan albümündeki "Ride On The Rhythm" ile yakalayan Marc Anthony, 1992 yılından sonra, freestyle müzik tarzını bırakıp salsa ve İspanyolca müziklere dönmüştür.
Puente, Ruben Blades ve Juan Gabriel'den ilham alan Anthony, 1993 yılında salsamonga hit'i "Hasta Que Te Conoci" ile büyük bir çıkış yakaladığı İspanyolca albüm olan Otra Nota'yı hayranlarıyla buluşturduktan sonra, 1994 yılında, La India'nın "Dicen Que Soy" albümündeki "Vivir Lo Nuestro" adlı şakısına düet yapmıştır..
1995 yılındaki albmümü "Todo A Su Tiempo" ile, Grammy ödüllerine "Te Conozco Bien", "Hasta Ayer", Nadie Como Ella", "Se Me Sigue Olvidando" "Te Amare" ve "Llegaste A Mi" gibi şarkılarıyla aday olmuştur. 1999 yılında "Conta La Corriente" adlı albümü ile en iyi Latin tropikal performans ödülünü almıştır. Albümün göze çarpan şarkılarından bazıları "Y Hubo Alguien", "Contra La Corriente", "No Me Conoces" "Me Voy A Regalar" ve "No Sabes Como Duele" dir.
1999 yılında, Jennifer López ve Ricky Martin'in başarısından esinlenen Marc Anthony, kendisiyle aynı adı taşıyan "Marc Anthony" adlı albümünü çıkarmıştır. "I Need To Know" şarkısıyla İngiltere'de ilk 5'e girmeyi başaaran ve Grammy ödülünü alan albümün diğer hit parçaları "When I Dream At Night" "My Baby You" "Love Is All" ve Runaway Bride filminin soundtrack'ı olan "You Sang To Me" dir.

I Need You
From the day that I met you girl
I knew that your love would be
Everything that I ever wanted in my life
From the moment you spoke my name
I new everything had changed
Because of you I felt my life would be complete
[Refrain]
Oh baby I need you
For the rest of my life girl I need you
To make everything right girl
I love you
And I’ll never deny that I need you
Nothing matters but you my love
And only God above
Could be the one to know exactly how I feel
I could die in your arms right now
Knowing that you somehow
Would take my soul and keep it deep inside your heart
[Repeat refrain]
Girl your love to me feels just like magic
When you smile you have total control
You have power like nothing I’ve felt before
I’ve let all of my feelings show
Cuz I want you to know that.. I need you
I need you, for the rest of my life girl
I need you, say that you’ll be my wife oh
I love you, Wont you marry me marry me
Oh I need you (nobody but you)
Oooh I need you, for the rest of my life
Oh I need you (nobody but you)
Wont you marry me marry me
I love you, I really need ya baby (I really need nobody but you)
I need you
Girl I really need… need you girl I really need you need you (I need you)
Oohhh baby I love you (I love you)
I need you, Girl I really need ya need ya … oh baby…
Wont you marry me (I need you)
Wont you marry me marry me
I love you.. oohh ..
I need you. (I really need nobody but you)

My Baby You
as i look into your eyes
i see all the reasons why
my life's worth a thousand skies
you're the simplest love i've known
and the purest one i'll own
know you'll never be alone
[chorus:]
my baby you
are the reason i could fly
and 'cause of you
i don't have to wonder why
baby you
there's no more just getting by
you're the reason i feel so alive
though these words i say are true
they still fail to capture you
as mere words can only do
how do i explain that smile
and how it turns my world around
keeping my feet on the ground
[repeat chorus]
i will soothe you if you fall
i'll be right there if you call
you're my greatest love of all
[repeat chorus]
arianna i feel so alive

Y Hubo Alguien
De repente te da
por volverme a buscar
por hablar de los dos
y salir a cenar
tal parece que yo
te hice falta de mas
que no fuiste feliz
con tu otra mitad
de repente te da
por volver a sentir
quien es el que en verdad
sabe hacerte feliz
pero se te olvido
que al marcharte de aqui
yo quede igual que tu
libre para elegir
Y hubo alguien
que se encargo de darme
todo cada tarde
que se moria por llenarme
de detalles y palabras amables
Si hubo alguien
que mientras tu vivias
tu vida muy aparte
se encargaba de la mia con coraje
y logro conquistarme
y a ese alguien
una noche de locura interminable
le entregue mi carino, mi cuerpo
mi alma, mi mente y mi ser
como tu ya no sabes
De repente te da
por romper a llorar
por decir que jamas
me pudiste olvidar
pero se te paso
que al marcharte de aqui
yo quede igual que tu
libre para elegir
Wow!
Se te olvido decirme adios
se te olvido decirme adios
y hubo alguien
alguien que lleno mis dias
y lleno mis noches
con una nueva ilusion
Se te olvido decirme adios
se te olvido!
se te olvido decirme adios
y hubo alguien
se te olvido decirme adios
abrias mi puerta para otro amor
Ella me da tanto
tu me dejaste ir
y no pensaste en mi
y ahora no puedes vivir
sola...sin mi
ahora hay alguien que me da
mucho amor y un carino
sincero, perfecto y bonito, tu ves
Wow!
Te llore
te digo, te llore, te llore
te llore
te digo, te llore, te llore
te llore
Desconsolado
te llore
Triste y desesperado
tu no pensaste en mi, pena
y te marchaste, mi nena
Y llora, que te llora
llora, que te llora
Llora!
Pero tu ya no me importas
Ohhhhh, y ahora no puedes vivir
sola, sin mi
y ahora no puedes vivir
sola, sin mi
y ahora no puedes vivir
sola, sin mi
y ahora no puedes vivir
sola, sin mi
Ay, yo llore
yo llore
Ay, yo llore
que mucho llore
Ay, yo llore
yo llore

Celos
y as¨ª comenz¨® mi obsesi¨®n, mi delirio por conquistarte
y siempre me estoy imaginando
las veces que ¨¦l te hace suya
no puedo aguantar tantos celos
y siempre me estoy imaginando
la veces que ¨¦l te hace suya
no puedo aguantar tantos celos
vivir as¨ª no puedo m¨¢s
te digo no puedo m¨¢s
vivir as¨ª no puedo m¨¢s
no puedo, no puedo m¨¢s -

I Need To Know
[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olMrgaVCPMY[/youtube]
They say around the way you've asked for me
there's even talk about you wantin' me
I must admit that's what I wanna hear
But thas jus' talk until you take me there, oh
If it's true don't leave me all alone out here
Wonderin' if you're ever gonna take me there
Tell Me What you're feelin' cuz I need to Know
Girl you gotta let me know which way to go
Cuz I Need to Know
I need to know
Tell Me Babygirl cuz I need to know
I need to know
I need to know
Tell me Babygirl cuz I need to know
My every thought is of this bein' true
It's gettin' harder not to think of you
Girl I'm exactly where I wanna be
The only things I need you here with me, oh
